Detachable Collar
Banker's Collar Hannah Lord Montague is supposed to have invented the detachable collar in Troy, New York in 1827, when she tried snipping the collar off of one of her husband's shirts to wash it and then sewed it back on. Rev. Ebenezar Brown, a businessman in town, proceeded to commercialize it.(Taken from Wikipedia)
The Banker's Collar is white with rounded corners. It is to be worn with shirts that have the banded collar, collar stud in front and button in the back.
