Chaining Fork or Lucet
This tool is used to produce a chained cord, or lace, for use in clothing, applied decoration, and upholstery. In clothing the lace is used for women's stays, fine draw strings, and men's and boy's rear waistband adjustment of breeches. Finised cord size and strength is determined by the thread used.
